BILL PAYNE

Hometown:  Bremerton, WA

Birthdate:  December 6th, 1981

Marital Status:  Single, married to these trucks

Favorite Food:  I just love food, I love to eat.

Favorite Music:  I have to have it. I'll listen to anything, just as long as there's noise. When I can hear myself think, things get scary!

Favorite TV Show:  I'm like a little kid, if I start watching TV, I get zoned out, so I try not to ever watch.

Favorite Competitor to Race:  Any competition. I get race fever--I love running with the bigger name guys but it's the small guy that will shock you. Honestly, I look up to Max D. I have never gotten to run with him but I love watching him.
Why Are You a Monster Truck Driver?:
I drive because I love it. I wouldn't trade it for love or money. There's something about when you strap in and start hearing the crowd cheering and screaming over the sound of the truck, it gives you goosebumps and butterflies. It doesn't mater how many times I do this, its still special. There's just something about the look on kid's faces when you let them sit in the truck. I have definitely sold myself to the fans. I love it. I have the job that millions of people dream of having. What's not to love?

Why Are You a Monster Truck Driver?:  There is no feeling in the world like it. To see everyone on their feet cheering for you has got to be the greatest feeling. TONY CANEDO

Hometown:  Dixon, CA

Birthdate:  September 12, 1963

Marital Status:  Married for 13 Years with 3 Daughters

Favorite Food:  See Food (If he sees it, he eats it!)

Favorite Competitor to Race:  "So far, every driver and truck has been so great to run with. I started out mud draging, and it was not a sport I could ever bring my family too. Every race ended up in a argument at the end of the night. In monster trucks there are not poor lossers. We are all there to perform for the fans. Its amazing you can give another guy a hard time all year long, razing him and pushing his buttons, but when time comes that your truck breaks, they are still the first ones to be there to help. Likewise with any other team. I love being able to bring my family to the show. Many other teams bring family that the girls can play with.

Why Are You a Monster Truck Driver?:  Its been my dream for a long time. When I used to do mud drags I met Bill at a show in Oakdale, CA and we became friends. He asked me if I wanted to take one of his original trucks, Hot Stuff, out for intros. That was the start. My dream really came true when he called and needed a driver for a show in Pomona, CA. I have been hooked ever since.
