How did you get started competing in Monster Truck racing?
Lorna Payne: I worked with a monster truck promotion company as a sideline and ended up meeting Bill at one of the shows. Our friendship turned into something more and after a few years I was a part of the SUR team and riding with him in Rock Star.

What do you enjoy doing while on the road the most?
Lorna Payne: Meeting different people. We have met a lot of really good people and some of them have become very close friends. I love looking at architecture as it changes depending on where we are in the world. I always come home with some kind of craft or painting from a local artist that represents their heritage.

What do you do with your free time?
Lorna Payne: When we are home I try to spend as much time as I can outside taking care of our dogs, ducks and garden.

What is your greatest memory as a Monster Truck rider?
Lorna Payne: Seeing the huge smiles from little girls and letting them know they can be anything they want to be and to not let anyone tell them any different.

Do you have any pre-show rituals that you run though?

Lorna Payne: I just take a little bit of time to get strapped in so I can sit and relax.

If you were not competing what career path would you follow?
Lorna Payne: More than likely I would be in animal rescue, but I know whatever Bill was doing I would be right beside him helping and being supportive.

What’s your favorite food?
Lorna Payne: Cheese and cold sausages.

What’s your favorite movie?

 Lorna Payne: White Christmas

What’s your favorite television show?

Lorna Payne: NCIS, Castle, Bones, Big Bang Theory and Mike & Molly.

What’s your favorite color?
Lorna Payne: Pink. All you see on my side of the closet is pink, but I do love blue as well.
