How did you get started competing in Monster Truck racing?
Dylan Hewitt: I got my start in monster trucks when I was 9 years old at a monster truck show in Grass Valley, CA. I wasn’t able to do much, but that is where I started learning all aspects of the trucks and a show.
What do you enjoy doing while on the road the most?
Dylan Hewitt: I enjoy being able to look for classic cars and trucks. You never know what you are going to find grown over in the bushes.
What do you do with your free time?
Dylan Hewitt: When we are on the road I like relaxing at the hotel goofing off and doing nothing. At home I am all about searching for old trucks and working on whatever motor I may have lying around. Bonfires with friends is also high on my list.
What is your greatest memory as a Monster Truck driver?
Dylan Hewitt: My greatest memory with monster trucks was watching Bill Payne do his first back-flip in California Kid in Saskatoon, SK, Canada.
Do you have any pre-show rituals that you run though?
Dylan Hewitt: My pre-show ritual consists of spiking my Mohawk and having a snack.
If you were not competing what career path would you follow?
Dylan Hewitt: I am currently on my way to becoming a Mechanical Engineer.
What’s your favorite food?
Dylan Hewitt: My all-time favourite food is my Mum’s homemade Bacon Mac and Cheese.
What’s your favorite movie?
Dylan Hewitt: The Fast and The Furious, but I really like the whole series.
What’s your favorite television show?
Dylan Hewitt: Vegas Rat Rods
What’s your favorite color?
Dylan Hewitt: Other than black, it would be a really bright green.
